Shri G.H. Patel School of Nursing is Charutar Arogya Mandal’s oldest pillar, having been in operation since 1980 with the vision of preparing well-trained nurses who can provide ‘Solace to the Suffering’ and striving towards the nursing institute’s vision of “enhance the image of the nursing profession through transformative education to produce change leaders.”
As a constituent of Bhaikaka University, the Institute of Nursing Sciences (Formerly Shri G.H. Patel College of Nursing) offers the B.Sc. Nursing programme from 2014 and later the M.Sc. Nursing programme from 2021, approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Gujarat Nursing Council, Ahmadabad. The institute provides a conducive learning environment for students. The institute has excellent, efficient, and highly experienced faculty who worked diligently on all curricular and co-curricular activities for students.
Highly experienced teachers impart classroom and clinical teaching to prepare students to become competent and compassionate healthcare professionals. The clinical exposure of the students occurs at Shree Krishna Hospital, a tertiary care teaching hospital on the same campus with about 1000 beds.
The hard work to maintain the caliber of nursing education at par with international standards has resulted in approximately 1000 and above alumni who shine in and around the world and are recognized as ambassadors of the institute.
