Milestones

• January 1981 – Charutar Arogya Mandal started Shree Krishna Hospital
• August 1980 – Inauguration of School of Nursing in hospital building and started DGNM programme with an intake of 20 seats
• July 1986 – Shifted to a new and independent building
• July 1993 – Charutar Arogya Mandal introduces a system of free & paying students
• January 1994 – Assembly Hall added to the nursing building
• August 2006 – Establishment of Kadambari Alumni Association (KAA)
• October 2014 – Started B.Sc. Nursing programme with an intake of 40 seats
• September 2019 – Establishment of Bhaikaka University and B.Sc. Nursing programme offered under Bhaikaka University
• February 2021 – Started M.Sc. Nursing programme with an intake of 15 seats in three specialities: Child Health Nursing, Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing, and Medical Surgical Nursing
• April 2022 – Renaming of Nursing Institute from Shri G.H. Patel College of Nursing to Institute of Nursing Sciences for B.Sc. Nursing & M.Sc. Nursing programme
• January 2024 – Foundation stone laying ceremony of Waymade Nursing College
