The Department of Adult Health Nursing will be accountable to:

• Acquaint faculty and students with latest advances in medical surgical nursing
• Prepare proficient nurses to meet holistic and comprehensive needs of patients
• Promote departmental and collaborative research activities
• Develop, implement, evaluate and modify clinical teaching-learning guidelines
• Appraise faculty and student activities in medical surgical nursing
• Ensure collaboration with other departments in the college and university
