Eligibility

• The candidate should have passed B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from the Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
• The candidate also should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN & RM) or should have a registration equivalent with any State Nursing Registration council and possess one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Candidates should be medically fit for the Programme.
• Admission is open to female and male candidates.
• Foreign candidates must produce equivalent certificates from the Indian Nursing Council stating that their qualification and experience are adequate for enrolling them in this programme.

Scope

On successful completion of the M.Sc. Programme candidate shall have following employment opportunities:

• Can serve as a speciality in Nurse / Nurse Practitioner.
• Can serve as an administrator/head of specialised nursing department.
• Can serve as a faculty in nursing colleges for teaching the speciality programme.
• Can become research scholar in medical research institutes.

Admission Process

Prospective students can apply through any of the following means:

• By filling the application form available at nursing institute. The supportive self-attested documents along with Rs. 3000/- application fee (Non refundable) should be submitted personally to administrative office. ORdownload from Bhaikaka University website and submit via email.
• Selection will be based on entrance exam merit conducted by Bhaikaka University. Selected candidates must appear for interview with original documents.
