The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. There is no maximum age limit for admission.
Candidate with Science who has passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and passed In English Individually. OR
Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
The candidate shall be medically fit.

On successful completion of the B.Sc. Nursing programme candidates shall have the following opportunities:

Further specialization in various short-term Programmes.
M.Sc. Nursing in various subjects and Ph.D. in nursing.
Work as a nursing officer in rollway hospitals, and military hospitals. govt. Hospital, health centres - primary & community.
Work as an occupational health nurse in the industry.
Work as nursing staff in ambulance services.
Work as a nursing tutor/ clinical instructor in a nursing educational institution.
Work as a school health nurse in various settings like school/college.
Work as a community health officer at a health and wellness centre.

Advertisements for admission will be released by the Admission Committee of the Government of Gujarat in leading Gujarati newspapers.
For registration, first get a PIN from Axis Bank or online from the admission committee website.
With the PIN register at the admission committee portal and fill the registration form and upload the required documents.
Once the merit list is released by the admission committee, the choice-filling advertisement will be released for the mock round followed by advertisement for first-round choice-filling and seat allotment.
Once the seats are allotted, pay the fee at Axis Bank along with the fee receipt verify certificates at designated admission help centre, and report to the college with the admission order to complete the admission process. At the nursing institute, pay Rs. 1000/- application fee (Non-refundable) with admission form and essential documents.
The admission form will be processed, and the remaining tuition fee must be deposited. Later, the candidate submits the undertaking.
